I think it looks spiffy! |
Many folks, such as Stannik and...
Strannik, have asked me to revise the deck plan of the
Conestoga's Rover variant, as the text mentions an aft airlock, cargo arms, and suit-locks, and an equipment pallet, but the blueprint has none of these. I should have done this ages ago, but better late than never, right? Since tomorrow is my birthday, and I'm going to be doing associated things, I thought I'd give all of my patient RocktFans the goods. So, here it is, the
Conestoga Rover with all of the missing hardware. Hope you enjoy!
On the behalf of lurkers such as myself, Happy Birthday! And Merry Christmas! We love what you do.
ReplyDeleteNice! Belated Merry Christmas, Happy Boxing Day and a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteAnd in reward for your wonderful job, I'm going to suggest another one - the airlock module that is used to connect the various connies into Martian trailer parks.
I did that one...remember the iceteroid outpost article and the spin-hab connies? They have airlock nodes already attached.
ReplyDeleteHowever, you're catching me in a mellow mood. I will be including such hardware as part of the text in next month's CASSTOR PDF; these rockets were designed to transport Destiny Foundation settlers and with their optional second stage/cargo module, they can carry a connie, a base hab, and all the gear needed to make a permanent settlement. More to come on that ;)
Aww, you're too well prepared for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray. Looking forward to it.
